Psalm 1: Planted By The Water

Blessed is the one who does not walk In step with the wicked, nor stand in sinners' talk. Delighting in the law of the Lord, Meditating day and night, in His word they're stored. Like a tree planted by the streams of water, Yielding fruit in season, their strength never falters. Whatever they do prospers, under God's watchful eyes, In the Lord's righteousness, their spirit flies. Not so the wicked, like chaff in the wind, they're blown, Unable to stand in judgment, their ways are shown. The path of sinners, lost, not found, In the assembly of the righteous, they're not bound. The Lord watches over the righteous way, But the path of the wicked will decay. Guidance and protection for those who believe, Eternal love and grace they will receive.
