Pain Pain is something you have felt before Shame on you For thinking that you could think of Anyone but yourself, you Carry it around like a body in a hearse Acting like everyone is out to curse You Blinded by what you want to see not what's clear in the blue Not what you've been through Latching on to someone else Looking for a glimpse of blue You wish that you could fly above But you don't know Who you really are yet I've found myself in someone new Not quite that shade of blue yet But I don't know what to do It can't be helped I'll pity myself I'll pity myself if no one else will Identity is not a fact in my reality I don't really know who I'm meant to be Forcing these feelings like I'm somebody else Searching for a feeling in my soul that I've yet to feel Can I ask of you a favor? Could you paint me the same?
