Dumber

When I was young Everything seemed so simple People were dumb And I was a goddamn genius Then I grew up I guess it's not that simple Or am I just dumber? Am I just dumber People are starving they said Well give them food I said People are dying they said Give the medicine I said People are hating they said We give them a hug I said People are killing each other they said Maybe they just need some love they said I knew the answers all of the time If I had the power I'd make it alright President Tae that was my dream Fixing everything that came in my way But I guess I'm changed now Or is it the world Did I grow up or Did I dumb down When I was young Everything seemed so simple People were dumb And I was a goddamn genius Then I grew up I guess it's not that simple Or am I just dumber?
