I dove into that freezing seaWith the parasite attached to meI had hoped the salt belowWould divorce what was wed above But league after leagueIt yet remainedFor the fleshy vessel IKept it sustained And so we froze a while surrounded by one big tearWhich only reminded me of a former home But we weren't welcomeThe sea made that clearBy filling us with salineAnd sailing us blue blue back intoThe atmosphere "You choked as you surfaced, tangled in seaweed" But what remained?Of the driving intent?That led me to tract such watery depthsMany things have betrayed meBetween there and hereAnd my memory is so fucking unclear Who was I with?
