Waves are breaking under the pier I'd mention surfing but that's not why you're here Surfing the skate park Until it gets dark Dad in the yard, natural phenomena Mom and her friends talking on and on and on and on Everybody's going to the beach soon But they're all just animated cartoons Anywhere is a long way from there This place they call elsewhere But no one else even cares Everybody's hanging at the high tide Talking and sitting at the poolside In this scene called California Dreams
