Notice every day go by, knowing what you didn't try. Numbers flashing in your head, worry replaced it instead. Looking across the water, pondering what's waiting there. Blurry vision can't tell though, don't know, but can't be aware. The blend between the now and then, won't comfort the next day. Anticipation will stay. The glory of a moment, like steam will evaporate. Life's flame will suffocate. The friends of past are long gone. The unknown mist won't clear. Always waiting for some peace. Sails are up and it can't steer.
